The Federal Environment, Technology and Nuclear Inspection Service of the Russian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (Rostekhnadzor) has granted Rusatom Overseas A.Ş a license allowing the company to build nuclear facilities at nuclear power plants. This license was obtained within the scope of the project for the construction of an on-board small modular reactor plant (SMR NPP) with RITM-200N reactor to be implemented in Yakutia (Russia).

Rusatom Overseas A.Ş Vice President Oleg Sirazetdinov said in a statement on the subject, “We have reached another milestone in our work by obtaining the Rostekhnadzor license for our SMR project in Yakutia.
