Strategic 4 Steps to Success in Wind Energy

Country Energy General Manager stated that the technical experience and human resource accumulation required for the establishment and operation of wind power plants in Turkey is at a sufficient level, and that the maintenance and repair operations to be implemented with the right timing and scope after the power plants are put into operation will assume a leading role in protecting domestic and national energy investments. Ali Aydın lists 4 strategic steps in order to be even more successful in the field of wind energy.

1- Increasing awareness in the wind energy sector: Since the wind energy sector is very competitive, studies should be carried out to increase the awareness of our achievements in this field and our global position as a country. In order to make new investments in our country and to ensure its continuity, it is important to realize media support with the cooperation of the private sector and the public. Thus, strong messages will be given that the favorable commercial conditions sought by producers and investors exist in our country.

2- Correct pricing: He states that it is very important for government policies to be encouraging. Stating that the policies followed in our country for the last 10 years have supported the growth in wind energy, Aydın said that bureaucratic support should be provided to investors looking for a safe harbor.

3- Stable stance in the wind: While more and more successes are being achieved in the field of wind energy, both the stakeholders and the government should take firm steps.

4- Quality procedures in the wind energy sector: In order to achieve a service and maintenance performance beyond European standards and a total improvement in the field of wind energy, certain quality procedures that should be sought in the supplier ecosystem for operations and services should be established.
