Singapore Airlines announced that it has signed a letter of intent to purchase 7 Airbus A350F cargo aircraft powered by Rolls-Royce’s Trent XWB-97 engines.
Singapore Airlines has also committed to a 15-year TotalCare maintenance agreement for the Trent 
XWB-97 engine running on the A350F cargo plane.
Preferred for their reliability and versatility, Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines have become an ideal solution for the cargo plane market as well as for passenger planes with their efficiency to power both short-haul and long-haul flights, while considering the aviation industry’s goal of moving to net zero in the coming years. The Trent XWB engine family will also contribute to Singapore Airlines’ sustainability strategy. Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines are 15% more efficient than first-generation Trent engines, making them the most efficient aircraft engine currently in service in the world.
Making a statement on the subject, Chris Cholerton, President of Rolls-Royce Civil Aviation, said, “We are delighted that Singapore Airlines will purchase 7 Airbus A350F cargo aircraft powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines.” used the phrases.
