The list of the 20 countries that produce the most clean energy and the most fossil energy has been announced by the energy tariff comparison platform Utility Bidder.

The research, based on figures from the International Energy Agency, revealed that 56% of Norway’s total energy use comes from renewable energy. This country was followed by Brazil and New Zealand.

45% of Norway’s energy comes from hydroelectric generation

45% of Norway’s total energy resources come from hydroelectric generation. In Brazil, a leader in biofuels and waste energy, these resources make up 32% of the total energy supply.

Renewable energy sources account for 42% of New Zealand’s energy supply, which is ranked 3rd. While 25% of its energy supply consists of wind and solar energy, New Zealand is at the forefront of the world in this field.
