Sunseap Group, a major developer in the field of solar energy in Asia, announced that it will establish the world’s largest floating solar farm in Indonesia in the coming years. The CEO of Sunseap Group, Frank Phuan, stated that the solar energy farm planned to be built in Batam, Indonesia, will be started in 2022.

While it is thought that the floating photovoltaic energy system, which is planned to be fully established in 2024, will have a capacity of 2.2 gw, the solar energy system will cover an area of ​​1600 hectares in Batam and will cost approximately 2 billion dollars.
