McDonald’s will offtake the entirety of the power produced at the Prairie Ronde solar project, which is expected to generate around 327,000MWh annually.

This is the second deal between McDonald’s and Lightsource bp in Louisiana, the first being a PPA signed for a 345MWdc Baton Rouge solar project.

The Landmark building provides its hvac system with 100 percent green energy.

They have commissioned the 1 st phase of the solar energy system, which will have a full installed power of 210 kWh, and they will implement the others soon. ( Chillers compressor not included. )

The Landmark Complex consists of 3 buildings with a total area of 65,000 m2 providing office and hotel services. The complex offers various facilities: office Centre, hotel, restaurants, conference Centre, wellness Centre, indoor and outdoor pool, banquet and concert halls, movie theater, recreation areas, ample parking and 24-hour closed-circuit building security.

Increasing concerns over energy security and climate change will mobilize record levels of new capacity to generate renewable energy in 2022, according to the International Energy Agency’s forecasts.

The IEA estimates that 320 gigawatts will be in effect this year, up from the previous record of 295 gigawatts in 2021. General Electric (GE) and UK Export Credit Agency UK Export Finance (UKEF) have reached an agreement to finance Kalyon Energy’s 1.35 GW Karapınar solar energy project in Konya-Karapınar district.

With UKEF offering $291m (£217m) Buyer Loan Facility to ensure GE deploys its first FLEXINVERTER solar technology outside of the US worked. In this way, Turkey’s clean energy targets will be supported and trade will be facilitated for UK suppliers. The project was financed by J.P., the main regulator and lender of UKEF guarantor.

Customer-sited solar is a significant opportunity, which will materialize in the coming decades and bring change to energy markets and power network operations. There has been significant debate about how best to structure incentives and regulations around customer-sited solar – and more recently solar-plus-storage – and the considerations are complex. Policy makers must aim to stimulate development that realizes the benefits of these technologies, while avoiding the potential adverse effects of large-scale uncoordinated development.
