<p>The China Electricity Council (CEC) in a yearly report said grid-connected wind and solar would make up around 40% of installed power generation capacity by the end of 2024, compared with coal&#8217;s expected 37%.</p>
<p>By comparison, wind and solar together were around 36% of capacity at the end of 2023, and coal was just under 40%.</p>

<p class="ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10">The figures are from Wind Energy Ireland&#8217;s annual report and a report by energy specialists Baringa.</p>
<p class="ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10">They found that without wind energy, an additional £176m would have had to be spent on gas to generate power, with an additional almost £70m on carbon credits to burn it.</p>
<p class="ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10">That reduced emissions by about 0.9m tonnes, equivalent to the amount of carbon produced by 200,000 homes.</p>

On the other hand, gas generation increased to compensate for the drought-induced decline in hydropower generation. Hence Turkey’s emissions per kWh power generation remain unchanged. In fact there has been no significant improvement in Turkey’s carbon intensity of power in at least 30 years.</p>
<p>Hydropower has a very long history in Turkey, the <strong>first power plant</strong> in its history was a hydropower plant constructed in Southern Turkey in the early 1900s during the Ottoman Empire era.</p>

<p>With the decision numbered <strong>10260-13 taken</strong> on <strong>June 10, 2021</strong>, the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) belongs to Enerjisa Enerji Üretim AŞ; It granted a 49-year production license to the<strong> Erciyes Wind Power Plant (WPP) Project</strong>, which is under construction in Yahyalı district of Kayseri.</p>
<p>When Erciyes WPP is commissioned, it will have a capacity of <strong>65MWe.</strong></p>

<p><strong>The UK</strong> has the largest wind farm market, beating other world leaders such as<strong> Germany</strong> and<strong> China</strong> &#8211; so much so, that <strong>20%</strong> of the UK’s energy comes from wind turbines[1]. However, there is currently an even bigger drive to increase wind energy use in Europe.</p>

<p><strong>Power Plant</strong> stood at first place when compared with other <strong>power tender categories</strong> in the <strong>Europe</strong> region in <strong>Q1 2021</strong> with <strong>206 contracts</strong> and a <strong>44.1%</strong> share, followed by Generation Equipment with<strong> 106 contracts</strong> and a <strong>22.7%</strong> share and <strong>Electricity Procurement</strong> with <strong>61 contracts</strong> and a <strong>13.1%</strong> share during the quarter.</p>

<p>Türkiye’nin en büyük savaş gemisi olacak TCG Anadolu’nun da belgelerini hazırlayan Türk Loydu, Katar ve Türkmenistan’da ki deniz araçlarında da denetim sağlamaktadır. Türk Loydu Başkanı Cem Melikoğlu, “Savunma Sanayi Müsteşarlığı projelerinin ilgi görmesiyle Türk Loydu da dünya çapında da markalaşmıştır” dedi. Nükleer enerji sektörüne hazırlık için Alman TÜV Nord ile işbirliği yapan kuruluş Türkiye’nin ilk milli rüzgar türbinini de belgelendirecek.</p>
