Institut Français Turkey is currently (May 2024) organizing a series of conferences, workshops and exhibition events under the title “The Mediterranean, a Sea Under Pressure” in order to raise awareness about marine biodiversity before the United Nations Ocean Summit to be held in Nice, France in 2025 and the “Mediterranean Season” in 2026.

September 24 is the most important day of this year for young people globally. On Friday, September 24, millions of young people from around the world and 1000s of young people from our country come together at events.

Young activists in the climate strike, called by Fridays for Future Turkey, Youth for Climate Turkey and Roots & Shoots Turkey and supported by many institutions, will come together at a vegan picnic to be held in Kalamış Park between 12:00 and 14:00.
