‘Solar Bridge’, Turkey’s First Solar Energy Sectoral Company Search Platform, was launched by the Solar Energy Industrialists and Industry Association (GENSED).

Developed as a digital platform, the “Sun Bridge” offers a reliable and transparent company search site for investors aiming to generate electricity from the sun. With the platform, it is also aimed to bring together potential solar energy investors and respected and reliable companies of the solar energy sector.

From the application, which is open to all stakeholders of the solar energy sector, all companies will be able to provide membership services free of charge until 31 December 2022.

Welcoming the YEKA GES-3 competitions, which have been completed, and the provision of 1,000 MW capacity rights to the solar energy sector, GENSED emphasized the importance of commissioning these investments as soon as possible. GENSED President Halil Demirdağ said, “Every year, 110 million dollars will remain in our country thanks to the additional 1,000 MW SPP.”

The completion of the YEKA SPP-3 competitions, developed within the scope of the Renewable Energy Resource Areas (YEKA) model of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, and the granting of 1,000 MW capacity to 74 solar energy projects in 36 different cities was welcomed in the sector.
