<p>While the construction of the <strong>GES power plant</strong>, which is located on a gross area of <strong>24 hectares</strong>, is currently underway, with more than <strong>24,000</strong> double-surface<strong> 540Wp</strong> solar panels distributed over an area of <strong>14 hectares</strong>, a total power of<strong> 13MWp</strong> is being installed.</p>

<p>Gabon Water and Energy Company (SEEG) will purchase the energy of the 15 MW part of the solar power plant within the scope of the agreement with the Minister of Industry and National Entrepreneurship of Gabon, Carmen Ndaot, with an investment value of 27 million euros.</p>
<p>Within the framework of the Transformation Acceleration Plan (PAT) program, Gabon is planned to increase its solar energy capacity to 250 MW by 2025.</p>

Each of the two demonstration bases directly managed by the National Energy Administration in the cities Delingha and Golmud, the Mongolian-Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Haixi, has a generating capacity of 500 MW.</p>
<p>The Golmud base sells its electricity at 0.316 yuan (5 U.S. cents) per kWh, lower than the 0.325 yuan benchmark price of electricity generated by coal-fired power plants.</p>
