While the European Union (EU) member countries agreed on the common gas purchase, they could not reach an agreement on the ceiling price for natural gas.

The energy ministers of the EU member states met in Prague, hosted by the Czech Republic, the term president.

Making a statement at the end of the meeting, Czech Industry and Trade Minister Jozef Sikela said, “We are focused on high gas prices. We need a fast and effective solution.
