In the light of the data announced by the US Department of Energy’s Energy Information Administration (EIA), coal production in the country was 11.8 million tons, with an increase of 6.2% compared to the previous week, while it increased by 3% compared to the same period of the previous year.

While production was 4.6 million tons in the eastern part of the Mississippi River and 7.2 million tons in the west, coal production from the first day of the year increased by 11.2% compared to the previous year and amounted to 354.8 million tons.
