\u0130PM\u2013Sabanc\u0131 \u00dcniversitesi\u2013Stiftung Mercator Giri\u015fimi ve ACKnowl-EJ a\u011f\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan d\u00fczenlenen “Tabandan Yukar\u0131ya \u00c7evre M\u00fccadeleleri ve S\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilirli\u011fe Do\u011fru D\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcmler” ba\u015fl\u0131kl\u0131 bir toplant\u0131 ger\u00e7ekle\u015fecektir.<\/h1>\n

G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde d\u00fcnyan\u0131n d\u00f6rt bir yan\u0131ndaki yerel toplulukla topraklar\u0131n\u0131, sular\u0131n\u0131, ormanlar\u0131n\u0131 ve ge\u00e7im kaynaklar\u0131n\u0131 iklim de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011finin yarataca\u011f\u0131 felaketlere ve hayat\u0131n devaml\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flayan ekosistemlerin tahribat\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131 korumak i\u00e7in yo\u011fun bir m\u00fccadele i\u00e7erisindeler. Yerel topluluklar sadece hafriyat\u00e7\u0131 madencilik projelerine, b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6l\u00e7ekli \"\"barajlara, ya\u011fmur ormanlar\u0131n\u0131 yok eden end\u00fcstriyel plantasyonlara, termik santrallere ve \u00e7\u0131lg\u0131n in\u015faat ve altyap\u0131 projelere kar\u015f\u0131 \u00e7\u0131kmakla kalm\u0131yor, ayn\u0131 zamanda do\u011fay\u0131 tahrip eden bu projelere kar\u015f\u0131 yeni alternatifler de geli\u015ftirmeye \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131yorlar. D\u00fcnya \u00e7ap\u0131nda benzer ama\u00e7lara ve \u00e7evre adaleti anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131na sahip aktivist gruplar \u00e7o\u011funlukla kendi yak\u0131n \u00e7evrelerinin \u00f6tesine ge\u00e7ip b\u00f6lgesel, ulusal ve k\u00fcresel \u00e7evre adaleti a\u011flar\u0131 kuruyorlar. <\/strong><\/p>\n

D\u00fcnyan\u0131n her yan\u0131na da\u011f\u0131lm\u0131\u015f bu ilk bak\u0131\u015fta birbirinden farkl\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fcnen vakalar\u0131 bir araya getirmek ve haritaland\u0131rmak amac\u0131yla 2014 y\u0131l\u0131nda K\u00fcresel \u00c7evre Adaleti Atlas\u0131 (Global Atlas of Environmental Justice, <\/em>EJAtlas www.ejatlas.org<\/a> ) \u00e7evre adaleti m\u00fccadeleleri i\u00e7in \u00e7evrimi\u00e7i bir envanter olarak kuruldu. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Uluslararas\u0131 Bilim Konseyi (International Science Council \u2013 ISC)<\/em> taraf\u0131ndan desteklenen ACknowl-EJ (\u00c7evre Adaleti i\u00e7in Akademi-Aktivist ortak bilgi \u00fcretimi,<\/em> <\/strong>Academic-Activist Co-Produced Knowledge for Environmental Justice)<\/em> projesi de bu atlastan yola \u00e7\u0131karak, \u201chafriyat\u00e7\u0131l\u0131k\u201d kar\u015f\u0131t\u0131 tabandan yukar\u0131ya hareketlerin d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr\u00fcc\u00fc rollerini vurgulamakta ve bu hareketlerin g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczdeki \u00e7evresel ve sosyal krizlerle ba\u015fa \u00e7\u0131kmak i\u00e7in \u00f6nemli ve etkili akt\u00f6rler olduklar\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6ne \u00e7\u0131karmakta.<\/p>\n

\u0130stanbul Politikalar Merkezi-Sabanc\u0131 \u00dcniversitesi-Stiftung Mercator Giri\u015fimi ve ACKnowl-EJ projesi taraf\u0131ndan ortakla\u015fa d\u00fczenlenen bu toplant\u0131, akademisyenlerin ve aktivistlerin tabandan yukar\u0131ya s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilirli\u011fe do\u011fru d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcmler i\u00e7in nas\u0131l bir arada \u00f6\u011frenebileceklerini ve \u00fcretebileceklerini ara\u015ft\u0131rmay\u0131 ama\u00e7l\u0131yor.<\/strong><\/p>\n
