The 12th edition of the World Future Energy Summit (WFES), a key enabler of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) 2019, is set to feature a distinguished line up of speakers offering unique perspectives on the global sustainability agenda.<\/h1>\n

ABU DHABI, (UrduPoint \/ Pakistan Point News \/ WAM – 12th Jan, 2019) The 12th edition of the\u00a0World<\/a>\u00a0Future Energy Summit (WFES), a key enabler of\u00a0Abu Dhabi<\/a>Sustainability Week (ADSW)\u00a02019<\/a>, is set to feature a distinguished line up of speakers offering unique perspectives on the \"\"global sustainability agenda.<\/p>\n

Hosted by Masdar in partnership with Department of Energy,\u00a0Abu Dhabi<\/a>, this year\u2019s WFES will feature the Future Sustainability Summit as a platform for outlining the key issues during an era of disruptive change on 15-16\u00a0January<\/a>\u00a0under the theme \u2018Collaborating for a sustainable future\u2019.<\/p>\n

“Climate change is real and requires\u00a0all<\/a>\u00a0stakeholders to work together to deliver the affordable energy and sustainable solutions the\u00a0world<\/a>\u00a0needs.” said Dr. Lamya Fawwaz, Director of the Zayed Sustainability\u00a0prize<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“The Future Sustainability Summit will bring together\u00a0industry<\/a>\u00a0leaders, entrepreneurs, scientists, policy makers and innovators to explore a diversity of approaches to help maintain the momentum for sustainable development here in our region and around the\u00a0world<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

The Future Sustainability Summit\u2019s themes reflect a growing international awareness of the vast potential of revolutionary new technologies across fields as diverse as digitization, future skills,\u00a0water<\/a>, mobility, space, biotech, energy and climate change, and\u00a0food<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0agriculture<\/a>, along with the profound impacts that new tech will have on human behavioral and lifestyle patterns.<\/p>\n

Covering the core concerns inherent to ADSW\u00a02019<\/a>\u00a0theme of \u2018Industry Convergence: Accelerating Sustainable Development\u2019, the event\u2019s discussions will take the form of plenaries, debates, and interviews complemented by insight sessions\u00a0from<\/a>\u00a0young<\/a>\u00a0innovators and live on-stage demonstrations of cutting-edge robotics during a “robot<\/a>\u00a0rescuers” session.<\/p>\n
