D\u00fcnyada toplam jeotermal enerji kurulu g\u00fcc\u00fc 14 bin megavat d\u00fczeyinde bulunuyor. Lider ABD\u2019nin kurulu kapasitesi 3 bin 591 megavat iken, Filipinler bin 868 megavat, Endonezya ise bin 809 megavat jeotermal enerji kapasitesine sahip. T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de ise jeotermal enerjide 2016\u2019da kurulu g\u00fc\u00e7 760 megavat iken, 2017\u2019de 1,4 milyar dolarl\u0131k yat\u0131r\u0131mla bu kapasite bin 100 megavata \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131. T\u00fcrkiye jeotermal enerjide kurulu kapasite bak\u0131m\u0131ndan, ABD, Filipinler ve Endonezya\u2019n\u0131n ard\u0131ndan d\u00fcnyada d\u00f6rd\u00fcnc\u00fc s\u0131rada yer al\u0131yor. Jeotermal enerji milli, s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilir ve karbon emisyonu \u00e7ok d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck d\u00fczeylerde temiz bir kaynak fakat di\u011fer yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklar\u0131ndan farkl\u0131 olarak ke\u015ffi ve i\u015fletilmesinde \u00e7e\u015fitli risk ve zorluklar bulunuyor. Bu nedenle devlet destekleri kritik \u00f6nem ta\u015f\u0131yor. Yenilenebilir enerjinin desteklenmesine y\u00f6nelik YEKDEM\u2019in 2020\u2019de sona erdi\u011fini biliyoruz.
