Panel ve di\u011fer malzemelerin se\u00e7iminde korozyona kar\u015f\u0131 dayan\u0131kl\u0131 \u00fcr\u00fcnler tercih edilerek santral \u00f6mr\u00fcn\u00fcn uzat\u0131lmas\u0131 planland\u0131. Sistem, kaplad\u0131\u011f\u0131 su y\u00fczeyini y\u00fczde 70 oran\u0131nda havadan izole ediyor. B\u00f6ylece, \u00f6zellikle yaz aylar\u0131nda kar\u015f\u0131la\u015f\u0131lan en \u00f6nemli sorunlardan biri olan buharla\u015fmayla su kayb\u0131 da azalm\u0131\u015f olacak. GES ile her sene 210 ton karbondioksit sal\u0131n\u0131m\u0131 da engellenecek.
