T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin 2003 verilere g\u00f6re demiryolu ula\u015f\u0131m\u0131nda elektrikli hat oran\u0131 %20.14 \u2018t\u00fcr. \u00dclkemizde demiryollar\u0131n\u0131n geri kalan b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnde ise dizelli i\u015fletmecilik yap\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Dizelli i\u015fletmecilikte, i\u015fletmecilik giderleri elektrikli i\u015fletmecili\u011fe g\u00f6re 3 kat daha fazlad\u0131r. Ayr\u0131ca bu sekt\u00f6rdeki enerji kullan\u0131m\u0131n\u0131n yakla\u015f\u0131k % 99\u2019unu petrol \u00fcr\u00fcnleri olu\u015fturmaktad\u0131r. Dolay\u0131s\u0131yla ula\u015ft\u0131rma sekt\u00f6r\u00fc bu y\u00f6n\u00fcyle b\u00fcy\u00fck oranda d\u0131\u015fa ba\u011f\u0131ml\u0131 durumdad\u0131r.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Ula\u015ft\u0131rma sekt\u00f6r\u00fcndeki enerji sorunu, \u015fehir planlamac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131, toplu ta\u015f\u0131mac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n pay\u0131n\u0131n art\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 gibi uzun vadeli \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcmlerle giderilebilir.
