Plant-e\u2019nin kurucu orta\u011f\u0131 ve CEO\u2019su Marjolein Helder,<em><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">\u201c100 metre karelik ye\u015fil alan senede 2800 kilowatt saatlik elektrik \u00fcretebiliyor\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0diyor. Hollanda\u2019da ortalama bir evin senelik elektrik kullan\u0131m\u0131 3500 kilowatt-saat. Yani\u00a0<strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">100 metrekarelik bir alan\u0131n \u00fcretti\u011fi elektrik, ortalama bir evin y\u0131ll\u0131k elektrik enerjisinin yakla\u015f\u0131k y\u00fczde 80\u2019ini kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131yor.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0Buna ilave olarak, ekvatora do\u011fru yakla\u015f\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131ndaysa g\u00fcne\u015f \u0131\u015f\u0131nlar\u0131n\u0131n artmas\u0131 sebebiyle elde edilen verim de art\u0131yor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Hollanda\u2019n\u0131n sokak \u0131\u015f\u0131klar\u0131 projesi dahilinde Plant-e elektrik \u00fcretim s\u00fcrecinde, bitkiler plastik kaplarda yeti\u015ftiriliyor. Fotosentez yapan bitkiler g\u00fcne\u015f enerjisini \u015fekere \u00e7eviriyorlar. Bitkiler b\u00fcy\u00fcd\u00fck\u00e7e ihtiya\u00e7lar\u0131 oldu\u011fundan daha fazla \u015feker \u00fcretiyorlar. Bu fazla \u015feker k\u00f6klerinden topra\u011fa geri veriliyor, burada proton ve elektrona ayr\u0131l\u0131yor.
