Gelecek 20 y\u0131l i\u00e7erisinde d\u00fcnyan\u0131n enerji haritas\u0131n\u0131n toryum ile de\u011fi\u015fece\u011fini savunan Sultansoy, \u015funlar\u0131 kaydetti:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGeli\u015fmi\u015f \u00fclkeler, enerjilerinin b\u00fcy\u00fck k\u0131sm\u0131n\u0131 n\u00fckleer santrallerden sa\u011flamaktad\u0131r. Fransa, enerjisinin y\u00fczde 85\u2032ini n\u00fckleer santralden kar\u015f\u0131larken, biz y\u0131llard\u0131r bu santrallerin kurulup kurulmamas\u0131n\u0131 tart\u0131\u015f\u0131yoruz. \u015eu anki bilimsel verilere g\u00f6re, T\u00fcrkiye toryum rezervinde d\u00fcnyada ikinci s\u0131rada bulunuyor. T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin geli\u015fmesini istiyorsak toryumdan enerji \u00fcreten santraller kurmal\u0131y\u0131z. 1 gigavatl\u0131k enerji i\u00e7in 3,5 milyon ton k\u00f6m\u00fcr veya 200 ton uranyum gerekiyor. Asl\u0131nda 1 ton toryumdan da bu enerji elde edilebilir. Toryum yak\u0131tl\u0131 reakt\u00f6rlerin 2020\u2032li y\u0131llarda ticarile\u015fmesi \u00f6ng\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcyor. 2030\u2032larda ise elektrik enerjimizin y\u00fczde 50\u2032sini yerli kayna\u011f\u0131m\u0131z toryumdan \u00fcretebiliriz. T\u00fcrkiye enerji devi olabilir, yeter ki biz bu teknolojiye sahip \u00e7\u0131kal\u0131m ve uluslararas\u0131 i\u015fbirliklerine kat\u0131labilelim.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>\u201cD\u00fcnyan\u0131n toryum yerine uranyuma y\u00f6nelmesinin nedeni n\u00fckleer silahlanma yar\u0131\u015f\u0131\u201d<\/h2>\n<p>Toryumla \u00e7al\u0131\u015fan santraller konusunda d\u00fcnyada en b\u00fcy\u00fck ilerlemeyi sa\u011flayan \u00fclkenin Hindistan oldu\u011funu belirten Sultansoy, ABD, Norve\u00e7, Kanada, Japonya ve \u00c7in gibi \u00fclkelerin toryumu elektrik santrallerinde kullanmak \u00fczere proje \u00fcrettiklerini s\u00f6yledi. T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin elektrik enerjisi \u00fcretimini OECD ortalamas\u0131na y\u00fckseltebilmesi i\u00e7in mevcut kapasitesini \u00fc\u00e7 kat\u0131na \u00e7\u0131karmas\u0131 gerekti\u011fine dikkati \u00e7eken Sultansoy, \u00fclkedeki toryum rezervlerinin bin y\u0131llar boyunca enerji gereksinimini kar\u015f\u0131layacak kapasitede oldu\u011funu vurgulad\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Sultansoy, toryumun tabiatta \u015fu anki n\u00fckleer santrallerde kullan\u0131lan uranyumdan yakla\u015f\u0131k \u00fc\u00e7 kat fazla bulundu\u011fu belirterek, d\u00fcnyan\u0131n toryum yerine uranyuma y\u00f6nelmesinin tek nedeninin n\u00fckleer silahlanma yar\u0131\u015f\u0131 oldu\u011funu savundu.<\/p>\n<h2>\u201cT\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin bu i\u015ften karl\u0131 \u00e7\u0131kmas\u0131 baz\u0131 g\u00fc\u00e7 odaklar\u0131n\u0131n i\u015fine gelmiyor\u201d<\/h2>\n<p>D\u00fcnyada toryum rezervi a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan \u00fc\u00e7 \u00fclkenin ba\u015f\u0131 \u00e7ekti\u011fini ifade eden Sultansoy, \u015f\u00f6yle devam etti:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBilinen toryum miktar\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan Hindistan ilk s\u0131rada bulunuyor. Onun hemen ard\u0131ndan T\u00fcrkiye ve Brezilya geliyor. Uluslararas\u0131 Atom Enerjisi Kurumu (IAEA) ve OECD verilerine g\u00f6re 880 bin ton ile d\u00fcnyadaki toryum rezervinin y\u00fczde 11\u2032i T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de bulunuyor. Di\u011fer ba\u011f\u0131ms\u0131z kaynaklar ise \u00fclkedeki rezervlerin bundan 3-4 kat daha fazla oldu\u011funu ve T\u00fcrkiye topraklar\u0131ndaki toryumun de\u011ferinin 120 trilyon dolar olabilece\u011fini tahmin ediyor. Isparta\u2019da bulunan \u00c7anakl\u0131 Madeni\u2019nde kolay i\u015flenebilen torit minerali \u015feklinde 20 bin ton rezerv var ve sadece bu rezerv 100 y\u0131l boyunca elektrik enerjimizi kar\u015f\u0131layabilir. Toryumla beraber atom bombas\u0131 yap\u0131lamayan bir enerji \u00fcretilecek.<\/p>\n<p>Daha da \u00f6nemlisi, h\u0131zland\u0131r\u0131c\u0131 s\u00fcr\u00fcml\u00fc toryum yak\u0131tl\u0131 sistemler n\u00fckleer at\u0131k problemini \u00e7\u00f6zmeye imkan sa\u011flayacak. Y\u00fcksek miktarda toryum rezervine sahip olan T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin bu i\u015ften karl\u0131 \u00e7\u0131kmas\u0131 baz\u0131 g\u00fc\u00e7 odaklar\u0131n\u0131n i\u015fine gelmiyor.
