Ara\u015ft\u0131rma raporuna g\u00f6re, metal i\u00e7ermeyen bu ak\u0131m pili ucuz k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck bir organik molek\u00fcl olan kinon molek\u00fcl\u00fcn\u00fc kullan\u0131yor. Buna benzer molek\u00fcller bitkiler ve hayvanlarda enerjiyi depolamak i\u00e7in kullan\u0131l\u0131yor.<\/p>\n<p>Normalde g\u00fcne\u015f ve r\u00fczgar enerjisi iklime ba\u011fl\u0131 oldu\u011fundan her yerde kullan\u0131labilen yenilenebilir teknolojiler de\u011fil. Bu teknolojiler s\u00fcrekli ve kesintisiz elektrik \u00fcretimi yapamad\u0131klar\u0131 i\u00e7in mevcut elektrik \u015febeke sistemine entegreleri kolay de\u011fil. Yeni batarya teknolojisi ile uygun maliyetli ve y\u00fcksek miktarlarda enerji depolayarak bu problemi \u00e7\u00f6zmek m\u00fcmk\u00fcn olabilir.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c7al\u0131\u015fmaya Kimya ve Biyokimya Profes\u00f6r\u00fc Al\u00e1n Aspuru-Guzik\u2019in grubunda yer alan Dr. Suleyman Er ve ekibi 10,000\u2032den fazla kinon molek\u00fcl\u00fcn\u00fc bilgisayar ortam\u0131nda analiz ederek destek verdi.<\/p>\n<p>Molek\u00fcller \u00fczerinde yap\u0131lan ileri kuantum hesaplamalar sonucu elde edilen veriler, molek\u00fcllerin voltaj, sa\u011flaml\u0131k ve suda \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fclebilme vb. \u00f6zelliklerinin hesaplanmas\u0131nda kullan\u0131ld\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Kuantum hesaplamalar sonucu uygun g\u00f6r\u00fclen kinon bazl\u0131 molek\u00fcller Harvard \u00dcniversitesi profes\u00f6rlerinden Prof. Roy Gordon ve ekibince sentezlendi ve yine Harvard Universitesi\u2019ndeki Prof. Michael J. Aziz ve ekibince laboratuvarda ak\u0131m pillerine entegre edilip test edildi. Dr. S\u00fcleyman Er ise ara\u015ft\u0131rman\u0131n yard\u0131mc\u0131 yazarlar\u0131ndan. Y\u0131llard\u0131r yurt d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda \u00e7ok \u00f6nemli ara\u015ft\u0131rmalarda T\u00fcrklerin yer almas\u0131 ger\u00e7ekten gurur verici.<\/p>\n<p>Ak\u0131m pillerinde enerji kimyasal s\u0131v\u0131lar yard\u0131m\u0131yla harici tanklarda depolan\u0131yor. Arabalardaki ak\u00fc benzeri kat\u0131 elektrot pillerinin aksine akim pilleri enerjiyi kimyasal s\u0131v\u0131larda depolayarak harici tanklarda sakl\u0131yor. Normalde pilin kendisi tank olarak kullan\u0131l\u0131rken, bu pilde s\u0131v\u0131lar kimyasal depolama tanklar\u0131nda depolan\u0131yor. Ak\u0131m pillerinde depolanan enerji kullan\u0131lan s\u0131v\u0131 miktar\u0131 ile ayarlanabildi\u011fi i\u00e7in ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar son zamanlarda ak\u0131m pillerine odaklandi. Bug\u00fcne kadar bu piller i\u00e7in pahal\u0131 kimyasallar gerekirken, bu yeni kinonlu pil sayesinde maliyet d\u00fc\u015fecek.<\/p>\n<p>Normalde \u00e7o\u011fu pilde lityum, vanadyum ve nikel kullan\u0131l\u0131yor.
