D\u00fcnyan\u0131n \u00f6nde gelen turizm rotalar\u0131ndan biri olan Akdeniz, plastik kirlili\u011finden en ciddi \u015fekilde etkilenen denizlerden biri. Tek kullan\u0131ml\u0131k plastik \u00fcretimi ve t\u00fcketiminin y\u00fcksek seviyelerde olmas\u0131, yetersiz at\u0131k y\u00f6netimi ve b\u00f6lgedeki yo\u011fun insan faaliyeti bir araya geldi\u011finde, Akdeniz\u2019i tehlikeli bir plastik tuza\u011f\u0131na d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr\u00fcyor. Her y\u0131l 300 milyondan fazla turist, \u0131l\u0131man iklimi, zengin deniz ya\u015fam\u0131 ve unutulmaz k\u0131y\u0131 g\u00fczellikleriyle dolu Akdeniz\u2019e geliyor. Ancak bunun bir bedeli var: turizm sezonunda denize kar\u0131\u015fan plastik miktar\u0131 y\u00fczde 40 art\u0131yor. Paket servis yiyecek ve i\u00e7ecekler ise genellikle tek kullan\u0131ml\u0131k plastik \u00fcr\u00fcnlere dayan\u0131yor.<\/p>\n<p>Ayr\u0131ca, Akdeniz\u2019in taze deniz \u00fcr\u00fcnleri hem yerel halk hem de turistler taraf\u0131ndan t\u00fcketiliyor. Ancak hem b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6l\u00e7ekli hem de k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck \u00f6l\u00e7ekli bal\u0131k\u00e7\u0131l\u0131k faaliyetleri, denizlerdeki plastik at\u0131klar\u0131n \u00f6nemli kaynaklar\u0131 aras\u0131nda yer al\u0131yor. Sert hava ko\u015fullar\u0131, teknelerin pasif av ara\u00e7lar\u0131na \u00e7arpmas\u0131 ve av ara\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131n kayal\u0131k deniz taban\u0131na tak\u0131lmas\u0131, bu ara\u00e7lar\u0131n kaybolmas\u0131na yol a\u00e7\u0131yor. Kaybolan veya terk edilen av ara\u00e7lar\u0131; deniz canl\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n dolanmas\u0131na ve bo\u011fulmas\u0131na yol a\u00e7\u0131yor, ya\u015fam alanlar\u0131n\u0131 kaplayarak ve mikroplastik kirlili\u011fine neden olarak habitatlar\u0131 tehdit ediyor. Ayr\u0131ca deniz \u00fcr\u00fcnlerini depolamak ve ta\u015f\u0131mak i\u00e7in yayg\u0131n olarak kullan\u0131lan k\u00f6p\u00fck (polistiren) bal\u0131k kutular\u0131, s\u0131kl\u0131kla k\u0131r\u0131l\u0131yor ve mikroplastik kirlili\u011fine neden olan kal\u0131nt\u0131lar\u0131 etrafa sa\u00e7\u0131yor.<\/p>\n<p>Turizm ve bal\u0131k\u00e7\u0131l\u0131ktan kaynaklanan kirlilik, deniz canl\u0131lar\u0131 ve ekosistemler i\u00e7in ciddi bir tehdit olu\u015ftururken; y\u00fcz\u00fcc\u00fcler, dalg\u0131\u00e7lar ve tekneler i\u00e7in tehlike arz ediyor, ayn\u0131 zamanda k\u0131y\u0131 topluluklar\u0131n\u0131n ge\u00e7im kaynaklar\u0131na da zarar veriyor. <strong>Plastik At\u0131ks\u0131z Limanlar Projesi<\/strong> ile liman i\u015fletmeleri, turizm i\u015fletmeleri, geleneksel bal\u0131k\u00e7\u0131lar, at\u0131k y\u00f6neticileri, plastik geri d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcmc\u00fcleri, giri\u015fimciler ve yerel yetkililerle birlikte hem insanlar hem de do\u011fa i\u00e7in \u00e7al\u0131\u015fan bir sistem kurulmas\u0131 hedefleniyor.<\/p>\n<p>Projenin tan\u0131t\u0131m ve \u00e7al\u0131\u015ftay toplant\u0131s\u0131nda ev sahibi olarak s\u00f6z alan <strong>WWF-T\u00fcrkiye Genel M\u00fcd\u00fcr\u00fc \u00d6m\u00fcr Kula<\/strong>, <em>\u201cDenizler bizim i\u00e7in sadece bir manzara de\u011fil; ge\u00e7im kayna\u011f\u0131, k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcm\u00fcz\u00fcn ve kimli\u011fimizin ayr\u0131lmaz bir par\u00e7as\u0131. Bug\u00fcn k\u0131y\u0131lar\u0131m\u0131zda plastik at\u0131klar\u0131n denizi nas\u0131l bo\u011fdu\u011funu g\u00f6rmek i\u00e7imi ac\u0131t\u0131yor. \u00d6te yandan, birbirinden k\u0131ymetli bu kadar farkl\u0131 payda\u015f\u0131n bu soruna \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm \u00fcretmek i\u00e7in bir araya geldi\u011fini g\u00f6rmek de umut veriyor.\u201d<\/em> diyerek s\u00f6zlerine \u015f\u00f6yle devam etti: <strong>\u201c<em>Plastik At\u0131ks\u0131z Limanlar<\/em><\/strong><em> ile amac\u0131m\u0131z, bal\u0131k\u00e7\u0131 bar\u0131naklar\u0131ndan ticari limanlara kadar uzanan bu b\u00fcy\u00fck ekosistemde, limanlardan denizlere plastik at\u0131k kar\u0131\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6nlemek, at\u0131klar\u0131n geri kazan\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flamak ve bu modeli t\u00fcm Akdeniz k\u0131y\u0131lar\u0131na yayg\u0131nla\u015ft\u0131rmak. Proje sadece denizi korumakla kalmayacak; ayn\u0131 zamanda liman \u00e7al\u0131\u015fanlar\u0131ndan bal\u0131k\u00e7\u0131lara, geri d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcm sekt\u00f6r\u00fcnden yerel y\u00f6netimlere kadar herkesin dahil oldu\u011fu d\u00f6ng\u00fcsel bir ekonominin \u00f6rne\u011fini olu\u015fturacak.\u201d<\/em> dedi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rostock \u00dcniversitesi Proje Koordinat\u00f6r\u00fc Abdallah Nassour<\/strong>, \u201c<em>Akdeniz b\u00f6lgesindeki turizm ve bal\u0131k\u00e7\u0131l\u0131k limanlar\u0131ndan kaynaklanan plastik at\u0131klar\u0131n azalt\u0131lmas\u0131na odaklanan <strong>Plastik At\u0131ks\u0131z Limanlar Projesi<\/strong> kapsam\u0131nda, T\u00fcrkiye ve Tunus pilot \u00fclkeler olarak belirlendi. At\u0131k y\u00f6netimi ve d\u00f6ng\u00fcsel ekonomi, teknolojiden \u00e7ok; politika, sorumluluk ve organizasyon meselesidir. Bu da hep birlikte \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcmler \u00fcretmemiz gerekti\u011fi anlam\u0131na gelir. Geli\u015ftirilmi\u015f yasalar, teknik \u00f6nlemler ile yetkinlik ve sorumluluklar i\u00e7in en iyi \u00e7er\u00e7eveyi sunabilir; izleme ve finansman\u0131 d\u00fczenleyebilir. Bu temelle belediyeler, \u00f6zel sekt\u00f6r ve bilim d\u00fcnyas\u0131, ekonomik olarak uygulanabilir \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcmler geli\u015ftirebilir ve sunabilir.\u201d<\/em> dedi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alman Federal \u00c7evre, Do\u011fa Koruma, N\u00fckleer G\u00fcvenlik ve \u0130klim Eylemi Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131\u2019na ba\u011fl\u0131 Gelecek \u2013 \u00c7evre \u2013 Toplum (ZUG) Deniz \u00c7\u00f6plerine Kar\u015f\u0131 Hibe Program\u0131<\/strong> temsilcisi <strong>Susanne Altvater<\/strong>, proje a\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u015f\u0131nda \u015fu g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015fleri dile getirdi:<em> \u201cAfrika, Avrupa ve Asya\u2019n\u0131n kesi\u015fim noktas\u0131nda, co\u011frafi olarak son derece ilgin\u00e7 bir konumda bulunan ve k\u00fclt\u00fcrel a\u00e7\u0131dan zengin bir \u015fehir olan \u0130zmir\u2019de sizlerle bir araya geldi\u011fim i\u00e7in \u00e7ok mutluyum. \u0130zmir, <strong>Plastik At\u0131ks\u0131z \u015eehirler<\/strong> projesinin de temel amac\u0131n\u0131 olu\u015fturan k\u0131talar aras\u0131, uluslararas\u0131 ve s\u0131n\u0131r \u00f6tesi i\u015f birli\u011fi i\u00e7in ideal bir yer. <strong>ZUG Deniz \u00c7\u00f6plerine Kar\u015f\u0131 Hibe Program\u0131<\/strong>\u2019n\u0131n amac\u0131, plastik at\u0131k d\u00f6ng\u00fcs\u00fcn\u00fcn en ba\u015f\u0131nda harekete ge\u00e7mek ve plastiklerin do\u011faya, \u00f6zellikle de son derece hassas deniz ekosistemine kar\u0131\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6nlemektir. Bu kapsamda \u00f6zellikle geri d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcm y\u00f6netimi yakla\u015f\u0131mlar\u0131n\u0131, d\u00f6ng\u00fcsel ekonomi uygulamalar\u0131n\u0131 ve \u00fcretici sorumlulu\u011funun geni\u015fletilmesi gibi ara\u00e7lar\u0131; yasal \u00e7er\u00e7evenin g\u00fc\u00e7lendirilmesi i\u00e7in yasal d\u00fczenleme programlar\u0131n\u0131 ve eylem planlar\u0131n\u0131 destekliyoruz. Sorunun \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fc i\u00e7in turizm ve bal\u0131k\u00e7\u0131l\u0131k sekt\u00f6rlerini s\u00fcrece dahil eden <strong>projenin<\/strong> yerel limanlar\u0131 \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcme aktif bi\u00e7imde dahil etme ve b\u00f6lgeye finansal kaynak, bilgi birikimi ve kapasite kazand\u0131rma yakla\u015f\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 de\u011ferli bulduk ve 40 proje aras\u0131ndan desteklemeye de\u011fer g\u00f6rd\u00fck.\u201d<\/em> dedi.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Bal\u0131k\u00e7\u0131lar\u0131 D\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcm\u00fcn Bir Par\u00e7as\u0131 Haline Getirmek<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Su \u00dcr\u00fcnleri Kooperatifleri Merkez Birli\u011fi Ba\u015fkan\u0131 Ramazan \u00d6zkaya<\/strong> ise \u015funlar\u0131 s\u00f6yledi: <em>\u201cBug\u00fcn burada, hepimizin ortak sorumlulu\u011fu olan bir meseleyi \u2014 denizlerimizin plastik kirlili\u011fiyle m\u00fccadelesini \u2014 bilimsel, kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131 ve uygulanabilir bir \u00e7er\u00e7evede konu\u015fmak \u00fczere bulunuyoruz. Bu m\u00fccadele yaln\u0131zca \u00e7evre i\u00e7in de\u011fil; bal\u0131k\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n, turizmin ve k\u0131y\u0131 ekonomilerinin s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilirli\u011fi i\u00e7in de hayati bir \u00f6neme sahip. San\u0131lan\u0131n aksine, denizleri kirleten yaln\u0131zca bal\u0131k\u00e7\u0131 gemileri de\u011fil. \u00dcstelik bal\u0131k\u00e7\u0131lar, ekmeklerini denizden kazand\u0131klar\u0131 i\u00e7in, denizin sa\u011fl\u0131kl\u0131 olmas\u0131na di\u011fer t\u00fcm deniz kullan\u0131c\u0131lar\u0131ndan \u00e7ok daha fazla \u00f6nem verir. Bu d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcm\u00fcn kal\u0131c\u0131 olmas\u0131 ancak sahadaki uygulay\u0131c\u0131lar\u0131n, yani bal\u0131k\u00e7\u0131lar\u0131n ve kooperatiflerin sahiplenmesiyle m\u00fcmk\u00fcn.
