S\u00f6zle\u015fmenin yap\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 2 \u015eubat tarihi, sulak alanlar\u0131n korunmas\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6nemine kamuoyunun dikkatini \u00e7ekmek i\u00e7in 1997 y\u0131l\u0131ndan bu yana, D\u00fcnya Sulak Alanlar G\u00fcn\u00fc olarak kutlan\u0131yor.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00fcrkiye, Ramsar S\u00f6zle\u015fmesi\u2019ne 17 May\u0131s 1994\u2019te resmen taraf oldu. Bug\u00fcne kadar <strong>Sultan Sazl\u0131\u011f\u0131, Seyfe G\u00f6l\u00fc, Burdur G\u00f6l\u00fc, Manyas (Ku\u015f) G\u00f6l\u00fc, G\u00f6ksu Deltas\u0131, Akyatan Lag\u00fcn\u00fc, K\u0131z\u0131l\u0131rmak Deltas\u0131, Uluabat G\u00f6l\u00fc, Gediz Deltas\u0131, Yumurtal\u0131k Lag\u00fcn\u00fc, Meke G\u00f6l\u00fc, K\u0131z\u00f6ren Obru\u011fu, Kuyucuk G\u00f6l\u00fc ve Nemrut G\u00f6l\u00fc<\/strong> olmak \u00fczere <strong>14 sulak alan s\u00f6zle\u015fme listesine<\/strong> dahil edildi. Uluslararas\u0131 \u00f6neme sahip bu alanlarla birlikte T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de toplam <strong>2.155.045 hektar<\/strong> alan\u0131 kaplayan, <strong>135 sulak alan<\/strong> bulunuyor. D\u00fcnyadaki karbonun <strong>%40<\/strong>\u2019\u0131 sulak alanlar taraf\u0131ndan tutulmaktad\u0131r ve bu da <strong>771 milyar tona<\/strong> denk gelmektedir. D\u00fcnyadaki canl\u0131 t\u00fcrlerinin yakla\u015f\u0131k<strong> %40\u2019\u0131 sulak alanlarda<\/strong> ya\u015famaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Sulak Alanlar Nedir?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Do\u011fal veya yapay, devaml\u0131 veya ge\u00e7ici, sular\u0131 durgun veya ak\u0131nt\u0131l\u0131, tatl\u0131, ac\u0131 veya tuzlu, t\u00fcm s\u0131\u011f g\u00f6l, lag\u00fcn, delta ve korunakl\u0131 k\u0131y\u0131lar sulak alan olarak nitelendiriliyor.<\/p>\n<p>Yeralt\u0131 suyu de\u015farj\u0131, ta\u015fk\u0131n kontrol\u00fc ve taban suyunun dengede tutulmas\u0131 gibi i\u015flevleriyle su rejiminin dengelenmesine katk\u0131 sa\u011flarlar.
