Kanadal\u0131lar\u2019\u0131n derin denizde uygulad\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve Cebelitar\u0131k Bo\u011faz\u0131\u2019na kurulmas\u0131 i\u00e7in de \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n ba\u015flat\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 sualt\u0131 t\u00fcrbin elektrik santral\u0131n\u0131n benzerinin, Kanal\u0130stanbul\u2019a kurulmas\u0131 durumunda y\u0131lda 56 bin megavat\/saat elektrik \u00fcretilecek. Enerji ve Tabii Kaynaklar ile Ula\u015ft\u0131rma, Denizcilik ve Haberle\u015fme Bakanl\u0131klar\u0131\u2019n\u0131n \u00f6zel ilgi g\u00f6sterdi\u011fi projeyi anlatan Bizimcan, \u201cA\u00e7\u0131lacak kanal\u0131n 45-55 kilometre uzunlu\u011funda, 150 metre y\u00fczey ve 120 metre taban geni\u015fli\u011finde olaca\u011f\u0131, derinli\u011finin de 25 metreyi bulaca\u011f\u0131 belirtiliyor. Bu durumda, Karadeniz ve Marmara\u2019n\u0131n muhte\u015fem alt ve \u00fcst ak\u0131nt\u0131 g\u00fcc\u00fc elektrik enerjisine \u00e7evrilebilir. Bu sistem her denizde uygulanabilir. Bunlar\u0131n 80 santral \u015feklinde kurulmas\u0131 halinde y\u0131lda 56 bin megavatl\u0131k elektrik enerjisi \u00fcretilmesi m\u00fcmk\u00fcn. T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin \u015fu andaki kurulu g\u00fcc\u00fc 52 bin 300 megavat. Marmara\u2019dan Karadeniz\u2019e ise 123 kilometrek\u00fcp\/ y\u0131l su gidiyor. Bizimcan \u201cKaradeniz\u2019den Marmara\u2019ya akan su Tuna Nehri\u2019nden 57 kilometrek\u00fcp\/y\u0131l fazla. D\u00fcnyan\u0131n en b\u00fcy\u00fck nehri olan Amazon\u2019un 378 kilometrek\u00fcp\/ y\u0131l olan suyunun debisi ile kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131r\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda \u0130stanbul Bo\u011faz\u0131\u2019n\u0131 d\u00fcnyan\u0131n en \u00f6nemli nehirlerinin seviyesine getirir\u201d dedi.
