The current gas crisis will likely repeat itself again, said Richard Gorry<\/strong>, managing director of JBC Energy Asia. \u201c This will be a crisis that is reoccurring over the next three or four years \u2014 simply because we don\u2019t have a lot of new natural gas supply coming into the market in that period, \u201d<\/em> he told CNBC\u2019s\u00a0\u201cCapital Connection\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0in mid-October.<\/strong><\/p>\n\u201cBy 2025<\/strong>, the situation may change, but I think we definitely have a couple of years where we\u2019re going to be looking at high energy prices,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n But James Whistler<\/strong>, global head of energy derivatives at shipbroking firm Simpson Spence Young<\/strong>, said he doesn\u2019t expect prices to remain high beyond this winter.<\/p>\n Other analysts predict that gas supply<\/strong> in the coming years will be able to meet demand. Anthony Yuen, head of energy strategy at Citi Research, said gas supply is \u201cgetting better.\u201d<\/strong> He noted that major liquefied natural gas export terminals are coming online and production is set to increase in Europe, Russia and China.
