\"\"While the 550 KW solar power plant, consisting of 1,368 panels and 5 inverters, was installed in the village of Salarl\u0131 on an area of \u200b\u200b23 decares, Edirne Deputy Governor and Uzunk\u00f6pr\u00fc District Governor Hakan Yavuz Erdo\u011fan; “I would like to thank those who contributed, stating that the energy used in the drinking water network of 50 of the 53 villages of Uzunk\u00f6pr\u00fc will be met from the solar power plant whose installation has been completed.”<\/p>\n

In his speech at the opening of the solar power plant, Edirne Governor Ekrem Canalp emphasized that solar energy is one of the most important and environmentally friendly energy sources and said, \u201cIn Uzunk\u00f6pr\u00fc and other villages of Edirne, we allocate a large part of our budget to the energy we use to supply the drinking water we give to the villages. Green energy, which is installed with smart planning, is energy that does not harm the nature, does not emit carbon and is the energy of the future. We are activating green energy on the Meri\u00e7 River with the 3 Rivers Project in Edirne.
