This country was followed by Brazil and New Zealand.<\/p>\n<h2>45% of Norway&#8217;s energy comes from hydroelectric generation<\/h2>\n<p>45% of Norway&#8217;s total energy resources come from hydroelectric generation. In Brazil, a leader in biofuels and waste energy, these resources make up 32% of the total energy supply.<\/p>\n<p>Renewable energy sources account for 42% of New Zealand&#8217;s energy supply, which is ranked 3rd.
