(Bahrain Tender Board- https:\/\/www.tenderboard.gov.bh\/)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is envisaged that a grid-tied solar PV power plant with a minimum capacity of 3 MWac, with a capacity of at least 3 MWac, will be constructed using the Build Own Operate and Maintain-BOOM method. The Solar Panels will be installed as parking lot shades at BIC, with a contract term of 20 years.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement from BIC, &#8220;This new project is expected to provide enough energy for the entire Formula 1 race weekend.\u00a0BIC has announced Bahrain&#8217;s commitment to increase renewable energy use in the Kingdom and Formula 1&#8217;s plan to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2030.
