Electricity production started in Turkey’s first Bifacial Solar Power Plant, which was established on an area of \u200b\u200bapproximately 80 decares on the factory land in K\u0131r\u015fehir, by \u00c7ema\u015f D\u00f6k\u00fcm Sanayi A.\u015e, a subsidiary of I\u015f\u0131klar Energy and Yap\u0131 Holding. The facility, which costs 2 million 868 thousand dollars, is expected to reduce the company’s annual energy consumption expenses by 800 thousand dollars.<\/h1>\n

Cemas D\u00f6k\u00fcm Sanayi A.S opened Turkey’s first Bifacial Solar Power Plant (GES)<\/strong>. The acceptance \"\"of the 6 MW<\/strong> state-of-the-art SPP facility established<\/strong> by the company on an area of \u200b\u200b80 decares<\/strong> in K\u0131rsehir was made by the TEDAS delegation<\/strong>. The facility, which costs 2 million 868 thousand dollars<\/strong>, will produce the electricity consumed by the casting factory during the daytime with solar panels.<\/p>\n

Investments Continue with a Sustainability Approach<\/h2>\n

Isiklar Energy and Yap\u0131 Holding Chairman of the Board<\/em> R\u0131za Kutlu I\u015f\u0131k<\/strong> stated that the power plant investment will be an important milestone for \u00c7emas<\/strong> to achieve its sustainability goals.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stating that they aim to use renewable energy resources effectively in all sectors they serve, I\u015f\u0131k emphasized that they adopt an environmentalist approach<\/strong> in production stages<\/strong> and business<\/strong> processes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u015f\u0131k said that with the GES put into service, they will also reduce the high amount of electricity energy<\/strong> costs used in the induction and casting furnaces that are in the melting phase of \u00c7ema\u015f’s casting activities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Increases both production and efficiency<\/h2>\n

In the said SPP<\/strong>, 400W<\/strong> solar energy panels produced in the factory of HT-SAEE<\/strong> in Turkey<\/strong> were used. PV panels with Bifacial Perc technology<\/strong> can also convert reflected<\/strong> sun rays into electrical energy,<\/strong> increasing efficiency<\/strong> and energy production<\/strong> by 10%<\/strong> compared to Mono Perc panels.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first Bifacial Solar Power Plant<\/strong> implemented in Turkey<\/strong> will produce 5900 kWe<\/strong> of electrical energy. The company is expected to supply 10,504,000 kWh<\/strong> of its annual energy need from the aforementioned SPP<\/strong>.
