NYNAS BT 22 <strong>base oil<\/strong> has been developed to fulfil the increased demand for a grade with high naphthenic character. This new product is versatile enough to perform in <strong>stable emulsions<\/strong> and as a <strong>viscosity correction fluid<\/strong> in various lubricant applications.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe emulsion stability of NYNAS<sup>\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>BT 22 is excellent because of its <strong>high naphthenic carbon type content (Cn)<\/strong> and suitable aniline point,\u201d adds Professor <strong>Thomas Norrby<\/strong>, Senior Specialist Lubricants at Nynas<em>.\u00a0<\/em>\u201c<strong>NYNAS BT 22<\/strong> will find its place in <strong>metalworking fluids formulations<\/strong> such as <strong>emulsion coolants<\/strong> for metalworking operations with chip removal, which <strong>involve cutting, drilling, milling<\/strong> and<strong> turning<\/strong>. <strong>NYNAS BT 22<\/strong> performs well in industrial lubricant applications including hydraulic fluids and greases.<em>\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>NYNAS\u00a0BT 22<\/strong> offers several advantages over paraffinic<strong> oils<\/strong>, such as excellent <strong>low-temperature<\/strong> properties and superior solvency.
