Capacity refers to the <strong>maximum amount<\/strong> that installations can produce, not necessarily what they are currently generating.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Europe\u2019s offshore wind capacity<\/strong> now stands at a little over <strong>25 GW<\/strong>, with <strong>42%<\/strong> of this located in U.K. waters.
