The facility at Australia\u2019s second-largest LNG plant has been shut since May.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph-paragraph-2Bgue ArticleBody-para-TD_9x\">In the <strong>United States<\/strong>, hurricane Laura halted loadings at <strong>Cheniere Energy Inc\u2019s<\/strong> Sabine Pass and Sempra Energy\u2019s Cameron<strong> LNG export plants<\/strong> in Louisiana last week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph-paragraph-2Bgue ArticleBody-para-TD_9x\"><strong>There were no loadings<\/strong> at these plants after<strong> Aug. 23<\/strong>, said Kaleem Asghar, director of <strong>LNG analytics<\/strong> at <strong>ClipperData<\/strong> on Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph-paragraph-2Bgue ArticleBody-para-TD_9x\">\u201cThere are <strong>16 ballast vessels<\/strong> in the <strong>Gulf of Mexico<\/strong> and<strong> feedgas supply<\/strong> remains zero to <strong>Sabine Pass<\/strong> and <strong>Sempra LNG terminal<\/strong>,\u201d he said, adding that more vessels were sailing towards <strong>Corpus Christie<\/strong> and<strong> Freeport LNG terminals<\/strong> instead.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Asian spot liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices rose this week as there were supply issues in Australia and the United States, while several buyers were looking for cargoes.
