The power produced by the turbines<\/strong>, located in Denmark<\/strong>, will support Apple\u2019s data center in Viborg<\/strong>, the company said in a\u00a0blog post\u00a0<\/strong>Thursday. the Viborg center backs Apple\u2019s key products, including the App Store, Apple Music, iMessage<\/strong> and Siri<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Apple said in July that it extended its goal to become\u00a0entirely carbon neutral by 2030\u00a0<\/strong>to its manufacturing and supply chain.<\/p>\n

Apple on Thursday said that Varta, a German-based supplier<\/strong>, committed to running its Apple production<\/strong> with 100%<\/strong> renewable power.
