{"id":118041,"date":"2020-08-03T22:25:02","date_gmt":"2020-08-03T19:25:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.enerjigazetesi.ist\/?p=118041"},"modified":"2020-08-03T22:27:39","modified_gmt":"2020-08-03T19:27:39","slug":"almanyanin-binalarda-enerji-verimli-yenileme-destek-prog-ina-yogun-ilgi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.enerjigazetesi.ist\/en\/almanyanin-binalarda-enerji-verimli-yenileme-destek-prog-ina-yogun-ilgi\/","title":{"rendered":"Germany&#8217;s Energy Efficient Renovation Support Programmes!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<h1>The demand for energy-efficient building renovation programmes offered by Germany&#8217;s government in the context of its Climate Action Programme 2030 remains high in the second quarter of 2020, even as the coronavirus pandemic took a grim toll on economic activity between April and June.\u00a0<strong>According to<\/strong>\u00a0the economy ministry (BMWi), credits and grants worth 14.5 billion euros haven been issued by the national development bank\u00a0<strong>KfW<\/strong>\u00a0in the first half of the year to retrofit more than 215,000 housing units as well as commercial and public buildings.<\/h1>\n<p>Investments in renovation have totalled <strong>38.5 billion euros<\/strong> since <strong>January<\/strong>. &#8220;This is an excellent development during hard times,&#8221; said economy minister Peter Altmaier. The ministry attributed part of the success to reformed support rules implemented at the beginning of the year,<strong> meaning the number of renovation projects<\/strong> in the country was twice as high in the <strong>first six months<\/strong> of the year than it was during the same <strong>period in 2019<\/strong>. For private buildings, the increase even reached <strong>180 percent<\/strong>, the\u00a0<strong>KfW<\/strong>\u00a0stated.<\/p>\n<p>About <strong>14 percent<\/strong> of Germany&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>greenhouse gas\u00a0emissions<\/strong> come from buildings and according to a\u00a0<strong>KfW\u00a0<\/strong>research paper released last year, &#8220;practically all&#8221; of <strong>Germany&#8217;s<\/strong> three-million non-residential building stock will have to be renovated if Germany wants to reach its target of a<strong> close-to-climate-neutral building<\/strong> stock by <strong>2050<\/strong>.
