The feasibility studies for the establishment of a 500 MW Solar Power Plant in the Viransehir district of Sanliurfa were initiated by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.

District Governor Ömer Dereci said in a statement; Tı The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources initiated a study to establish a 500 MW installed power plant in Viransehir. Feasibility studies are carried out for the system to be auctioned at the beginning of 2019.
