Russian bank Sberbank will provide a loan to AKKUYU NÜKLEER A.Ş for the construction of Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant (NGS). For this purpose, two loans of 500 million and 300 million US dollars will be given to the company for 7 years and the loans will be used for the construction of 4 units of the NPP.

Sberbank Deputy Chairman of the Board Anatoly Popov reminded that Sberbank provided a 7-year maturity loan of 400 million dollars for AKKUYU NUKEER A.Ş.

Between the Russian State Atomic Energy Agency Rosatom and DP World Company, the world leader in integrated digital logistics, on July 23, 2021, Russia’s St. A cooperation agreement was signed in St. Petersburg. The agreement was signed by Rosatom General Manager Alexey Lihachev and DP World Chairman and CEO Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem.

The agreement envisions Rosatom seeking to develop its logistics business, and DP World, a world leader in logistics activities, to combine their efforts to develop pilot container shipping between Northwest Europe and East Asia using Arctic support transport infrastructure.
