<p>The China Electricity Council (CEC) in a yearly report said grid-connected wind and solar would make up around 40% of installed power generation capacity by the end of 2024, compared with coal&#8217;s expected 37%.</p>
<p>By comparison, wind and solar together were around 36% of capacity at the end of 2023, and coal was just under 40%.</p>

<p>The <strong>1,000MW</strong> onshore wind energy project will see<strong> ENERCON</strong> supply and deliver a total of<strong> 240 E-138 EP3 E2 wind energy</strong> converters within the <strong>next four years.</strong></p>
<p>Enerjisa Üretim, a joint venture between E.ON and Sabanci Holding, will act as investor and operator for the project.</p>

<p>While the Biden administration has set a goal of reaching <strong>30 GW</strong> offshore capacity by<strong> 2030</strong>, from just <strong>42 megawatts</strong> currently with <strong>2 small projects</strong>, the Biden administration noted that projects include the <strong>New Jersey, Maryland</strong> and <strong>Virginia</strong> coasts and <strong>Lake Erie</strong> near <strong>Cleveland, Ohio.</strong></p>

<p>With this development, it is part of President Joe Biden&#8217;s effort to combat climate change by expanding clean energy technologies. The management set a target to increase the capacity from only 42 megawatts currently to 30 gigawatts by 2030 with 2 small projects.</p>

<p>With the decision numbered <strong>10260-13 taken</strong> on <strong>June 10, 2021</strong>, the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) belongs to Enerjisa Enerji Üretim AŞ; It granted a 49-year production license to the<strong> Erciyes Wind Power Plant (WPP) Project</strong>, which is under construction in Yahyalı district of Kayseri.</p>
<p>When Erciyes WPP is commissioned, it will have a capacity of <strong>65MWe.</strong></p>

<p>The association said a total of 14.83 billion kilowatt-hours was produced by wind power in the last month of the year.</p>
<p>This would be enough to cover the electricity consumption of Berlin or Schleswig-Holstein for one year, it said.</p>
<p>However, in reality there is a lack of energy storage facilities to use volatile renewable power as needed, BDEW added.</p>
