<p>XSMR, an ultra-compact clean energy source, uses fuel from existing industrial waste reserves without depleting natural resources.</p>
<p>NAAREA will use the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to design XSMR&#8217;s virtual twin.</p>

In UNECE&#8217;s newly released technology summary report, it was pointed out that nuclear energy can help meet the requirements of the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. Nuclear could be seen as part of a broader spectrum alongside the use of other sustainable low-carbon or zero-carbon technologies to decarbonize the global energy system and energy-intensive industries.</p>
