Singapore Airlines announced that it has signed a letter of intent to purchase 7 Airbus A350F cargo aircraft powered by Rolls-Royce’s Trent XWB-97 engines.

Singapore Airlines has also committed to a 15-year TotalCare maintenance agreement for the Trent XWB-97 engine running on the A350F cargo plane.

Preferred for their reliability and versatility, Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines have become an ideal solution for the cargo plane market as well as for passenger planes with their efficiency to power both short-haul and long-haul flights, while considering the aviation industry’s goal of moving to net zero in the coming years.
