<p>While the construction of the <strong>GES power plant</strong>, which is located on a gross area of <strong>24 hectares</strong>, is currently underway, with more than <strong>24,000</strong> double-surface<strong> 540Wp</strong> solar panels distributed over an area of <strong>14 hectares</strong>, a total power of<strong> 13MWp</strong> is being installed.</p>

<p>The plant has a power of 28 MW and has an energy storage capacity of 100 MWh to 5 hours. With the established PV plant, 11 percent of the electricity demand in the Kauai region is met, and Hawaii is expected to increase the share of electricity generation from renewable energy to more than 50 percent.</p>
