The Construction of Çetin Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant, which is located on the Botan Stream within the boundaries of Şirvan and Pervari district of Siirt, began in July 2017 by Limak İnşaat.

Çetin Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant started energy production with 2 units accepted by the Ministry. The planned total installed capacity of 420 MW Çetin Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant will generate 1 billion 174 million kwh energy annually.

The largest RCC body type dam of Turkey and Europe with 165 meters height and 4.726.527 m3 dam body volume, Çetin Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant’s remaining 2 units will start energy production in May.
