Mono Steel’s task in this project is to produce the steel structures of the 2nd phase designed for renewable energy…

Continuing its mega project in America, Mono Steel is going to the other side of the world, to Australia this time. Mono Steel, which was appreciated for its performance and quality workmanship in the 1st phase of the Snowy 2.0 Hydroelectric Power Plant Project, which was partially completed in 2020,
It is justifiably proud of taking part in the 2nd stage as well.

Even without being legislated, it matters as a signal. It will effectively be bipartisan, a rare and valuable thing in Australia’s climate policy. Of course the long-term goal could be used to deflect from the fact that not much is being done to put Australia on a low-carbon pathway right now, but it must be taken at face value if we are to stand a chance.

A recent analysis from the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) illustrates how electricity storage technologies can be used for a variety of applications in the power sector, from e-mobility and behind-the-meter applications to utility-scale use cases.

Utility-scale batteries, for example, can enable a greater feed-in of renewables into the grid by storing excess generation and by firming renewable energy output.

Though the project started up later and cost more than originally estimated, it is expected to further cement Australia’s lead as the world’s biggest LNG exporter, after the country took the crown in November.
