A team formed by his students. The team competed in Solar Challenge Morocco, a 2,500-kilometer race for solar-powered cars manufactured and raced by the world’s leading technical universities. The team partnered with Citrix Systems, Inc. to create a secure digital workspace where his car and drivers can share essential information to ensure peak performance. Using technology from (NASDAQ: CTXS) company, he put the wheels in motion for another victory.

It Provides the Ultimate Achievement in the Remote Working of the Workforce

“During a race you can imagine being in the middle of nowhere – in the Sahara desert or in the mountains – and having limited or sometimes even zero connectivity, which would be really scary. But we have digital workspace technologies on our side,” says team spokesperson Tanya Spee.

The 7-time winner of the 10-time five-day race has to do everything from designing, manufacturing and racing the car to creating their own IT environment, and using Citrix® ShareFile they can securely and reliably share critical information in real time for peak performance. . He can also share his progress with fans around the world.

Spee says: “We use Citrix ShareFile to share our files, media content, and all our videos between our 3 media vehicles we use during the race and our back office in the Netherlands, and we quickly deliver our story to the press and social media so people can follow our progress day-to-day and even minute-by-minute. “In the era of COVID, having the right digital workspace technology was more important than ever in designing and manufacturing our solar-powered car. Citrix plays a critical role and helps the team win a lot.”

The team also uses real-time race data on weather, road conditions and vehicle performance by correlating it with historical data to ensure their cars are as efficient as possible.

As Solar Challenge Morocco starts on October 25, 2021 and ends on the 29th, it is possible for me to visit the progress made by the Vattenfall Solar Team on Instagram, Facebook or vattenfallsolarteam.com.
