75 Million Dollars Investment from EBRD in Aydem’s Green Bonds

It has been announced that the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will invest $75 million in the green bond issuance of Aydem Renewable Energy. The EBRD underlined that the issuance is the largest green eurobond issue in Turkey.

In the statement, it was emphasized that Aydem Renewable Energy’s green bond issuance received a demand of 1.6 billion dollars and that the company provided 750 million dollars of resources.

It was also stated that the issuance, which is in line with the Green Bond Principles certificate of the International Capital Markets Association, will also create a new indicator for the Turkish markets and that Aydem will include more women’s employment within the framework of its cooperation with the EBRD.
