Our ‘Children’ Reflect Energy Efficiency to Transformers

UEDAŞ and Bursa City Council met in the Transformers Talk social responsibility project. ‘Energy efficiency and saving’ was depicted on the transformer in the work in which the children and the youth in the disabled council were in the leading roles.

Transformers Speak, implemented by UEDAŞ in 2017, this time created awareness for energy efficiency and savings. In the project, which was cooperated with Bursa City Council, the youth and the disabled members of the council painted messages about energy efficiency on the transformer. The painting, which the children sometimes made with paint brushes and sometimes with their hands, was the scene of colorful images.

Gökay Fatih Danacı, General Manager of UEDAŞ, one of the project stakeholders, said, “We painted our 55th transformer as part of the Transformers are Talking project. Our main goal here is to raise awareness about energy efficiency. With the cooperation of our City Council, our children in our children’s assembly painted the transformer. We met at a nice event to teach them about energy efficiency as well.” used.

Bursa City Council President Şevket Orhan, in his speech, said, “We painted the transformer together with our children and disabled council to create an awareness. Our children were very happy in this different environment we achieved. What our children do is a contribution to the city and they will express this in their memories in their later years. thank you,” he said.
