‘ASPİLSAN’ Continues to Add Strength to Turkey’s Energy for 40 Years

ASPİLSAN, in which the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation has a 98% share, was founded on May 21, 1981 in the Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone with the donations made by the citizens of Kayseri.

The company, which has been contributing to the defense industry in terms of energy for more than 40 years, has made progress in its journey that started with the production of rechargeable nickel cadmium batteries, and its product range is over 300. The organization can produce all kinds of civil and military hand and back radios, batteries for war equipment, aircraft and helicopters.

Expressing that the energy storage systems produced will have an important value for Turkey’s energy management, Özsoy said, “It is not possible to sustain renewable energy sources, especially without storage. We have produced prototypes of these and will present our products in the upcoming period, especially on the defense side, in terms of storing the energy obtained from the sun and wind.” said.
